Aboard the Hubba Bubba, a 29-foot boat dedicated to sport fishing, Greg and his team take you to discover deep sea fishing in Osa Bay. You can, for 6 days, experiment with various fishing techniques, incluing offshore trolling, and cross swords with many species.

Our guides know everything about the winds and currents of Osa Bay and Costa Rica in general. They will optimize your chances of good catches during your sport fishing trip and will be by your side whether you are experienced or a beginner!
After a night in our comfortable Nueva Vida lodge, you will start the day by fishing for a few small trevallies, bonito and sardines, respectively favorites of tuna, marlins and sailfish.
These fish will be stored in an oxygenated tank to serve as live baits to attract large pelagics. Outriggers open, trolling rod and specific lure will then be made available to you to tackle the serious things: the offshore trolling.
With yours live baits, you'll test the classic technique of bait and switch, it always works .
Note that it is only practiced with circle hooks, in order to be able to comply with the Catch and Release rule. Marlins and sailfish are protected, they must not be put on the boat and must be released in the best conditions.
