Have you decided to go to Costa Rica? To discover the Corcovado region or treat yourself to a sport fishing trip?
You made the right choice! This country, which protects its environment, is the ideal place to get close to nature and recharge yourself. It remains to be determined when to leave ...
Go to Costa Rica during the dry season for a discovery trip
Costa Rica, with its tropical climate, has only two seasons, the dry season and the wet season. The best time to find out is certainly the dry season because all the parks are open and all the roads are accessible.
When to leave? From December to May. Travel is easier and the lack of rain gives way to more activities to do alone, with family or friends.
The Corcovado, in the Osa peninsula, in the south of Costa Rica, will offer you a humid heat during this period, conducive to the flourishing of wild flora. You will be dazzled by the green landscapes of the best preserved part of the country!
The North, Caribbean side, will not have the same face, with dry heat and temperatures regularly reaching 40 ° C.
Costa Rica is however a country which is appreciated all the year: luxuriant vegetation, clean beaches, inhabitants of an extreme kindness. Telling you when to leave would be reductive because even during the wet season, the rain does not fall all day and the temperatures are mild!
From November to July: come during the fishing season in Costa Rica
The ideal period for a sport fishing trip to Costa Rica is the dry season, from December to April. Good weather, calm sea and plenty of fish.
You will also enjoy sailing and fishing in November, May, June and July: the rain does not appear until the end of the day, it will let you enjoy beautiful days of fishing, especially in the south, on the peninsula of Osa.
